Job Duties
- Works directly with General Manager to determine sales road map and sales goals
- supervises backline operations to ensure all associates are POP compliant
- ensures all backline orders are complete and catering checklist/order verification forms are utilized
- collaborates with General Manager to discuss sales goals and opportunities
- acts as a mentor and trainer for associates
- assigns, deploys and coordinates delivery drivers
- coordinates associates to assist in backline peak duties
- sends Thank You notes and performs daily call backs on catering orders
- handles and resolves customer complaints and accolades
- ensures catering collateral is displayed and stocked
- owns the delivery trade area and actively follows it
- manages capacity for backline based on staffing
- manages all house accounts including database of orders and payments
- works with District Manager to discuss sales successes and update goals
- strives to meet and achieve sales targets and communicates results daily
- participates in canvassing, account maintenance calls, and correspondence with customers
- responds to customer catering quotes promptly
- monitors backline sales trends and records daily
- communicates sales trends and results to team
- updates the Big Fish tracker to generate sales leads
- pursues all opportunities to drive catering and backline sales
- ensures all sides and utensils are provided for orders
- verifies 100 percent order accuracy
- monitors and listens for suggestive selling by associates
- performs other associate duties as assigned
- maintains compliance with health and food safety standards
- operates cash register
- provides great customer service.
