Job Duties
- Collaborate with dining room, service, and kitchen team members to keep track of all orders, monetary situations, and charges, validating methods of payment, completing transactions, and providing accurate change, documentation and receipts, and dispense the accurate amount if needed
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts
- Scan items and ensure pricing is correct, resolving discrepancies and processing payments
- Clean up checkout area and keep organized
- keep receipt paper and other stationery stocked
- Maintain accurate tabs on restaurant tables' orders using the venue's primary point of sale system
