Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 lbs
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
- willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to comply with health and safety regulations
- ability to obtain Food Handler's and Alcohol Service certifications as required

Job Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- friendly and service-oriented demeanor with focus on guest satisfaction

- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and on days as assigned by management
- ability to obtain and maintain Food Handler's and Alcohol Service certifications as required by local laws
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating as needed
- clear tables promptly and efficiently between courses and after guests leave
- reset tables with clean tableware, napkins, condiments, and centerpieces
- refill water glasses and assist with beverage service as directed by servers
- respond to guest requests and inquiries courteously, professionally, and promptly, and escalate issues to management when necessary
- perform pre-and post-shift duties such as preparing the restaurant area, ensuring all supplies are stocked, and setting up the workstations
- assist servers by delivering food to tables when needed
- monitor tables for guest needs and communicate effectively with servers
- maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping floors, wiping down tables, and organizing chairs
- ensure proper stocking of silverware, glassware, and plates at service stations
- keep service stations clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout shifts
- assist with running food from the kitchen to tables when needed or as requested by servers or chefs
- follow all food, health, safety and sanitation regulations, including hygiene, proper food handling and storage, and food quality and temperatures standards
- regularly check and clean high-traffic areas, such as beverage stations and tray stands
- remove used dishes, glassware, and trash from tables and service areas efficiently
- support dishwashing and back-of-house cleaning duties when necessary
- work closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- assist with setup, breakdown, and clean-up for special events or banquets
- provide additional support in high-volume periods or private dining settings
- adhere to company policies, including time and attendance, meal and rest breaks, uniform standards, professionalism and code of conduct
- maintain a professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- follow all health, safety, and hotel regulations regarding food handling and cleanliness
- perform other duties as assigned by management
