Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous bartending or related experience preferred
  • Knowledge of liquor types drink recipes and bar equipment
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and pricing
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
  • Availability to work nights weekends and holidays as required

Job Duties

  • Efficiently maintain bar supplies including preparation of daily requisition as necessary
  • Be completely familiar with all different kinds of liquor recipes prices proper glassware and garnishes
  • Know drink recipes prices and types of beverages available
  • Be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures including discounting MICROS system bank procedures and tip policies
  • Accurately charge guests for drinks and handle all monetary intake
  • Anticipate guest needs respond promptly and maintain positive guest relations at all times
  • Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Be formally trained regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter
