Job Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and carry 20-40 lbs
- Ability to bend, kneel, and maneuver in narrow areas
- Ability to continuously stand during shifts
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to solicit/accept tips only where tipping is allowed
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to wear appropriate uniforms for banquet events
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending or bar service experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of alcohol safety laws and responsible serving practices
- Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
Job Duties
- Knowledge of alcohol safety and responsible serving guidelines
- Know all garnishes and tools needed for a complete bar setup
- Keep service stations neat and clean and follow service/sanitation guidelines
- Greet and serve guests with excellent customer service using appropriate language
- Be attentive to guests' needs at all times and never seem rushed or hurried
- Know liquors/beverages for each function served and be prepared to offer alternatives
- Ability to read and speak English
