Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- One or more years of bartending experience
- TIPS or CARE beverage service certification or ability to obtain
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to lift and handle kegs weighing up to 150 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as walking, standing, carrying and lifting throughout the shift
- Ability to speak, understand and write English effectively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- One or more years of previous bartending experience
- TIPS or CARE beverage service certification or ability to obtain certification
- Demonstrated exemplary customer service and attention to detail
- Ability to perform job duties in a fast-paced and repetitive environment
- Effective communication skills in English including speaking, understanding, and writing
- Knowledge of health regulations and local liquor laws
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
Job Duties
- Greet all guests in a courteous and friendly manner
- Accurately and quickly take, enter, prepare and deliver guest orders according to standards
- Respond to guest needs and provide the highest level of quality service
- Assist other associates as needed to meet guest needs
- Operate micros operating system and cash register effectively
- Follow all cash handling and POS procedures to ensure accurate closing of guest checks
- Dispense alcohol appropriately and prepare drinks to recipe and brand standards
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area and handle beverage and food in compliance with regulations
- Assist with inventory tasks including completing inventory par sheets
- Follow brand procedures for guest and associate incidents and adhere to emergency protocols
- Attend department and hotel meetings and comply with attendance policies
- Complete required side work and contribute as a team player to the success of the bar and restaurant experience
