Job Duties
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
- engage in conversation and offer beverage suggestions
- attend to guests' needs promptly ensuring exceptional service
- maintain a professional and friendly attitude
- demonstrate strong knowledge of beverage offerings including wines, beer, and cocktails
- take and accurately enter drink orders into the POS system
- prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- follow recipes and techniques for consistent and high-quality drink preparation
- ensure proper garnishing and presentation
- apply mixology techniques to create unique cocktails
- provide detailed beverage descriptions and recommendations
- actively promote and upsell premium beverages
- stay updated on beverage trends and industry developments
- maintain understanding of wine list including varietals and food pairings
- manage pour costs, portion control, and minimize waste
- monitor and manage beverage inventory
- properly handle and store beverage stock
- keep bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked
- adhere to sanitary and safety regulations
- clean and polish glassware and equipment
- perform routine maintenance on bar equipment
- provide guidance and training to staff on beverage knowledge
- perform other duties as assigned
