Job Requirements

  • At least a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years full-service bartending experience
  • Valid OLCC permit
  • Valid food handler permit
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move items up to 150 lbs during long shifts
  • Familiarity with standard bar equipment including carts, hand trucks, wine openers, and blenders
  • Strong communication skills
  • Dependability and willingness to take initiative
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, nights, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of full-service bartending experience
  • Valid OLCC and food handler permits
  • Solid understanding of bar operations, inventory systems, and bartending best practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Dependable and proactive work ethic
  • Positive and upbeat attitude towards customer service
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, nights, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily bar operations for multiple outlets including 1891 Bar, Sports Pub, and Sunset Bistro
  • Partner with Bar Supervisor to develop and update beverage programs and seasonal cocktail menus
  • Support training efforts and foster a culture of performance and accountability among staff
  • Maintain proper functioning and cleanliness of bar equipment, storage areas, and stock levels
  • Manage inventory by submitting supply requisitions, receiving deliveries, and assisting with monthly counts
  • Support cost control by enforcing proper pouring techniques and adherence to standards
  • Facilitate beer, wine, and spirits training for restaurant staff as needed
  • Assist banquet and catering teams during major club events and holidays
  • Perform other duties as assigned
