Job Requirements
- Restaurant serving experience required
- ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates such as ServeSafe
- maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- ability to stand constantly and walk frequently
- ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- able to follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- flexibility to work varying shifts as required
- ability to perform cleaning duties and general maintenance tasks assigned by supervisor
Job Qualifications
- Good working knowledge of accepted standards of sanitation
- ability to read, write, speak and understand English to complete requisitions, read recipes, and communicate with team members
- ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or move goods weighing a maximum of 100 lbs on continuous schedule
- ability to stand and work continuously in confined spaces
- ability to perform duties within extreme temperature ranges
- restaurant serving experience
- prior hotel and restaurant serving experience preferred
- ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates such as ServeSafe
Job Duties
- Serve meals prepared for banquet and restaurant guests
- check to ensure consistency of product to the guest
- visually inspect, select and use proper dish set-up specified on banquet function sheet
- perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products
- keep floors dry and clean to avoid slip/fall accidents
- perform other duties as requested, such as moving supplies and equipment, cleaning up unexpected spills
