Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous baking experience preferred
  • Food safety certification required or ability to obtain
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for long periods
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • Commitment to wearing uniform and personal protective equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in baking or related role preferred
  • Knowledge of baking procedures, criteria, and sanitation regulations
  • Certification or willingness to acquire food safety certification
  • Proficiency in basic math skills and numeracy
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, and standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to adhere to uniform and personal protective equipment requirements

Job Duties

  • Utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
  • Arrange work surface with all essential supplies and ingredients
  • Organize components by measuring, weighing, combining, chopping, and other preparation steps
  • Work with baking equipment such as ovens, stovetops, and mixers
  • Practice safe handling of utensils during cooking and preparation
  • Adhere to guidelines for the safe storage of food products
  • Clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils to promote hygiene
  • Prioritize exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude
  • Follow Aramark's safety protocols including food safety and sanitation
  • Comply with security guidelines to protect organizational assets
