Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in baking or food preparation preferred
  • certification or willingness to obtain certification in food safety
  • ability to perform physical activities like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
  • willingness to adhere to uniform and PPE protocols
  • excellent communication skills
  • basic math proficiency
  • commitment to food safety and sanitation standards

  • knowledge of baking procedures, criteria, and sanitation regulations
  • certification for food safety
  • mastery of basic mathematical skills and numeracy

  • ability to follow uniform and PPE requirements

Job Duties

  • utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
  • arrange work surface with essential supplies and ingredients
  • organize components by measuring, weighing, combining, chopping, and other preparation steps
  • work with baking gadgets like ovens, stovetops, and mixers
  • practice safe handling of utensils while cooking and preparing meals
  • adhere to guidelines for safe storage of food products
  • clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils to promote hygiene
  • prioritize exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude when dealing with guests and coworkers
  • follow safety protocols focusing on food safety and sanitation
  • uphold safety by complying with established security guidelines
