Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in baking or food preparation preferred
  • Certification or willingness to acquire food safety certification
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and production processes
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Capacity to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, standing, and walking
  • Compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • Willingness to wear uniform and PPE as required

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in baking or a related role preferred
  • Established knowledge of baking procedures and compliance with sanitation regulations
  • Certification required for acquiring food safety certification
  • Mastery of basic mathematical skills and numeracy
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing for extended periods
  • Familiarity with uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements

Job Duties

  • Utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
  • Arrange work surfaces with essential supplies and ingredients for baking
  • Organize ingredients by measuring, weighing, combining, chopping, and other preparation steps
  • Operate baking equipment such as ovens, stovetops, and mixers
  • Practice safe handling of utensils including knives
  • Adhere to guidelines for the safe storage of food products
  • Clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils to maintain hygiene
  • Prioritize exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude with guests and coworkers
  • Follow company safety protocols emphasizing food safety and sanitation practices
  • Uphold security guidelines to protect organizational assets
