Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum of one year experience in a fast-paced food service or similar environment preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Job Duties

  • Deliver guest service with a friendly, approachable, and courteous demeanor
  • Actively seek opportunities to assist guests and team members
  • Respond sincerely and knowledgeably to guest and team member inquiries and needs
  • Staff, schedule, evaluate, train, and develop restaurant team members
  • Monitor and coach team performance to ensure service standards are met or exceeded
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels based on business volume
  • Understand and implement departmental objectives, standards, guidelines, and budgets
  • Adjust daily operations and schedules according to business needs
  • Ensure proper communication and coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations
  • Conduct periodic quality checks on food, service, and cleanliness
  • Ensure compliance with health department regulations and company policies
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
  • Increase restaurant revenue through menu optimization, portion control, presentation, and waste reduction
  • Assist in developing and implementing departmental plans, including budgets, labor schedules, and accountability systems
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
  • Ensure all stations are properly stocked and set up
  • Oversee maintenance of equipment and working conditions to ensure operational integrity
  • Promote courteous treatment of guests and team members, including resolving complaints and answering questions
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
