Job Requirements
- Complete all required training including assistant manager development plan
- Obtain food safety and manager certification
- Lead and coach team members
- Create work schedules in compliance with company standards and local laws
- Maintain service, product quality, and cleanliness standards
- Handle guest and team member complaints professionally
- Ensure compliance with company and legal policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records and use management tools
- Exercise flexibility to perform additional duties as needed
- Work safely and follow all safety guidelines
- Report concerns to management promptly
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
- Must have open availability and able to work 32 to 48 hours per week
- Must pass background check
- Must have leadership and organizational skills
- Must have 1-3 years management experience
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
- Open availability and ability to work minimum of 5 days and 32 to 48 hours per week
- Ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Successful completion of background check
- Possess leadership qualities and organizational skills
- Ability to interact cooperatively with others
- 1-3 years management experience required
- Restaurant management experience preferred
Job Duties
- Complete all training requirements including Zaxbys assistant manager development plan
- Obtain food safety certification and manager certification
- Enhance guest experiences by ensuring team members satisfy and exceed guest expectations
- Provide proper training, ongoing coaching, and development to team members
- Create and manage effective work schedules following company standards and local laws
- Plan and delegate shift assignments including communicating expectations and adjusting assignments as needed
- Supervise, provide leadership, and coach team members to perform at high levels and achieve quarterly goals
- Maintain consistent standards for service, product quality, and cleanliness
- Communicate performance concerns to general manager
- Assist with performance reviews and mentor team members
- Foster a positive culture and healthy team morale through recognition and leading by example
- Handle and report guest and team member complaints, concerns, and injuries timely and respectfully
- Ensure policies, procedures, and processes are followed during daily operations
- Maintain compliance with Zaxbys franchising LLC and Zax LLC guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws and guidelines
- Utilize management tools and keep accurate, current records
- Maintain flexibility to perform duties beyond position description
- Ensure team safety by enforcing safety guidelines and procedures
- Report human resources and risk management concerns promptly to management
- Escalate other concerns to supervisors as appropriate
- Perform all other duties necessary for proper restaurant operation
