Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one to two years of restaurant or kitchen experience
  • Food Handler certification
  • Ability to move to a store within a 50-mile radius of home
  • Availability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
  • Effective verbal communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • One to two years of restaurant or kitchen experience
  • Food Handler certification
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Assist in all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, cleaning, storage, and equipment maintenance
  • Prepare and cook all menu dishes as needed
  • Assist Kitchen Manager in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting hourly staff for kitchen openings
  • Prepare kitchen employees' weekly schedule and review bi-weekly time cards
  • Arrange repairs and maintenance services on equipment and facilities
  • Ensure food quality and safety standards are maintained
  • Conduct inventory checks, order supplies, and check deliveries with guidance from Kitchen Manager
