Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • associate's degree preferred
  • minimum one to two years of restaurant/kitchen experience
  • food handler certification
  • ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • able to stand for long periods
  • able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • willing to relocate within a 50-mile radius
  • effective verbal communication skills
  • ability to manage conflicts and difficult situations

Job Duties

  • assist in all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, cleaning, storage, and equipment maintenance
  • prepare and cook all menu dishes as needed
  • assist Kitchen Manager in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting hourly staff for kitchen openings
  • prepare kitchen employees' weekly schedule and review bi-weekly time cards
  • make or arrange for repairs and maintenance service on all equipment and facilities
  • ensure company standards on food and safety procedures are maintained and enforced
  • conduct regular inventory checks, order supplies, and check deliveries with guidance from Kitchen Manager
