Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Some college or degree preferred
  • Minimum 1-year experience preferably in food service industry
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to see at varying distances
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to handle exposure to heat, steam, smoke and cold
  • Manual dexterity to operate equipment and prepare food
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours under stress
  • Ability to read, write and perform basic calculations
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Ability to bend, reach and walk frequently

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ensure all menu items are prepared, portioned and presented properly
  • Perform or assist all functions for all positions in the restaurant as required
  • Plan and set up each shift for success through inspection and anticipation of challenges
  • Communicate expectations and assign work stations to staff
  • Lead shifts with enthusiasm, maintain standards, keep the team positive and organized
  • Take immediate action to correct food or service issues
  • Follow up by measuring shift results and preparing for the next shift
  • Communicate with management about employee performance, guest concerns and maintenance issues
