Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- some college or degree preferred
- 1 - 2 years managerial experience preferred
- preferably in the food service industry
- ability to stand and walk extensively
- ability to see clearly at 20 feet and at close range

- ability to handle heat, steam, smoke, and cold environments
- ability to reach heights of 6 feet and depths of 2 1/2 to 3 feet

Job Duties
- Assist the General Manager in planning and analyzing administration and operations manpower
- Ensure all menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented properly in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner according to established procedures and local health regulations
- Perform or assist all functions for all positions in the restaurant as required
- Ensure unit's compliance to productivity and service standards with well-trained and productive employees
- Manage facility and equipment maintenance, energy conservation, repairs, security, and adherence to safety and sanitation requirements
- Maintain proper inventory levels for food and non-food items through correct ordering procedures and efficient usage
- Conduct staffing activities including hiring, training, performance reviews, recommending salary increases, and issuing employee work histories
- Ensure accurate financial data including payroll, cash and receipts, food costs, and operating expenses
- Communicate regarding system breakdowns and deficiencies
- Attend management meetings and support unit objectives under supervision
- Anticipate, identify, and correct system breakdowns to maximize guest satisfaction
- Ensure thorough training and development of supervised personnel
