Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Some college or degree preferred
  • 1-2 years managerial experience preferred, preferably in the food service industry
  • Must be able to stand and walk extensively for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to see at distance and close range
  • Clear communication skills
  • Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, and cold
  • Must have mobility and flexibility
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic calculations
  • Ability to handle physical tasks including bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and carrying trays
  • Ability to work irregular hours under pressure
  • Must be able to use hands for writing, chopping, and operating equipment
  • Ability to fit through openings 30 inches wide
  • Must be able to deal with dish and cleaning chemicals

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Some college or degree preferred
  • 1-2 years managerial experience preferably in the food service industry
  • Strong leadership abilities and judgment skills
  • Knowledge of food, liquor, beer, and wine
  • Effective communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to set goals and monitor progress

  • Proficiency in financial and inventory management

Job Duties

  • Assist the General Manager in restaurant operations and planning
  • Ensure all menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented properly according to standards
  • Perform and assist with all restaurant functions when required
  • Maintain compliance with productivity and service standards through effective staff management
  • Oversee facility management including preventive maintenance, energy conservation, repairs, and security
  • Manage inventory levels and ordering to comply with company guidelines
  • Conduct staffing, training, performance evaluations, and employee development
  • Ensure accurate financial data management including payroll, cash, food costs, and operating expenses
  • Attend management meetings and present reports
  • Anticipate and resolve system breakdowns to maximize guest satisfaction
