Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand and walk extensively for up to 8 hours
  • Must be able to see at distances and close ranges
  • Must be able to communicate clearly
  • Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, and cold
  • Must have high level of mobility and flexibility
  • Ability to carry trays weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work irregular hours under heavy pressure
  • Must be able to read, write, and perform calculations
  • Must have good personal hygiene and dress in clean uniform
  • No prior experience required

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a courteous and respectable way when seated at station
  • Welcome guests immediately upon seating with a non-scripted greeting
  • Offer menu suggestions, answer questions, and anticipate guests' needs using acquired menu knowledge
  • Deliver hot food promptly, checking for accuracy, appearance, and temperature
  • Show genuine hospitality and actively engage guests to ensure 100 percent satisfaction
  • Keep tables, stations, pantry line, and dining room common areas clean
  • Perform side work during downtime including restocking, rolling silverware, and bussing tables
  • Communicate with manager on duty and coworkers about product/service deficiencies, equipment, and safety problems
  • Write guest checks and operate POS equipment according to company policies
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining room and pantry areas throughout shift
