Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 1-2 years managerial experience preferably in food service industry
  • ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours
  • ability to communicate clearly
  • ability to handle exposure to heat, steam, smoke, and cleaning chemicals
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • time management skills
  • ability to work irregular hours under pressure
  • ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
  • physical ability to bend, reach, and carry trays
  • high mobility and flexibility
  • must be able to fit through openings 30 inches wide

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • some college education preferred
  • 1-2 years managerial experience preferably in food service industry

  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to manage inventory and financial data
  • problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • ability to train and develop employees
  • proficiency in multitasking and working under pressure

Job Duties

  • Manage back of the house operations of the assigned restaurant
  • achieve planned sales and profit levels through company policies and procedures
  • provide direction to back of house staff ensuring execution of duties
  • assist restaurant staff to ensure maximum guest satisfaction and employee development
  • ensure all menu items are prepared and presented properly according to standards and regulations
  • maintain inventory levels through proper ordering and efficient usage
  • ensure compliance with productivity and service standards
  • manage facility and equipment maintenance and safety
  • conduct staffing, training, and performance reviews
  • manage financial data including payroll and expenses
  • attend management meetings and make presentations
  • anticipate and correct system breakdowns
  • ensure thorough training and development of kitchen personnel
