Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 1-2 years general manager experience preferred
  • ability to stand and walk extensively for up to 8 hours
  • good visual acuity including distance and close range
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work in varying environmental conditions including heat, steam, smoke, and cold
  • physical ability to bend, reach, lift up to 50 pounds, carry trays weighing about 50 pounds for short distances
  • manual dexterity to operate equipment
  • ability to work irregular hours under heavy pressure
  • basic math skills including addition and subtraction

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Directly supervises all unit management and indirectly supervises non-exempt employees during restaurant operation hours
  • responsible for achieving planned sales and profit levels
  • plans and analyzes manpower and ensures training and development of staff
  • performs and assists all aspects of restaurant functions as necessary
  • ensures menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented properly and safely
  • maintains compliance with productivity, service, safety, and sanitation standards
  • manages facility and equipment maintenance, energy conservation, and security
  • maintains proper inventory levels through efficient ordering and usage
  • identifies and corrects system breakdowns to ensure guest satisfaction
  • accountable for accurate financial reporting including payroll, cash, receipts, food costs, and expenses
  • participates in regional meetings and presentations as required
