Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous bakery or food preparation experience preferred
Ability to follow recipes and company procedures
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Availability to work flexible hours and schedules

Job Duties

Prepare bakery items according to Perkins standards and specifications
Label and date all trays of baked items
Set up and maintain the display cases using proper merchandising techniques
Follow proper sanitation procedures and maintain cleanliness of bakery prep and storage areas
Control food cost and ensure products are accurately portioned
Utilize FIFO (first in first out) standards when preparing items
Communicate with manager on duty and coworkers regarding product, service, equipment, and safety issues
