Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Prepare bakery items according to Perkins standards and specifications
- Label and date all trays of baked items
- Observe proper food storage procedures and ensure high standards of food safety
- Set up and maintain bakery display cases using proper merchandising techniques
- Follow proper sanitation procedures in kitchen, storage, and bakery areas
- Clean and sanitize all bakery equipment, pans, utensils, and display cases
- Utilize FIFO inventory methods when preparing bakery items
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, prep areas, coolers, and storage areas
- Follow safety policies regarding food handling, rotation, and storage
- Conduct line sweeps and clean as you go throughout the shift
- Communicate product or service deficiencies and safety problems to management
- Assist dishwasher and front-of-house staff with cleanliness and restocking
- Provide guest service by cooperating with front-of-house staff
