Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • No prior experience required as training is provided
  • Basic knowledge of sanitation, safety, and customer service can be learned through training
  • Ability to follow recipes and company procedures

  • Capability to work under pressure during busy times
  • Good time management and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Bake prepare bakery items according to company standards and specifications
  • Label and date all trays of baked items
  • Observe proper food storage procedures
  • Ensure high standards of food safety
  • Set up and maintain display cases using proper merchandising techniques
  • Follow proper sanitation procedures in kitchen, walk-ins, and dry storage areas
  • Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, pans, utensils, and display items
  • Ensure products are accurately portioned and prepared as specified by recipes
  • Utilize FIFO standards when preparing items
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, prep areas, coolers, and storage
  • Follow safety procedures concerning food handling and storage
  • Conduct line sweeps and clean as you go throughout shift
  • Communicate with Manager on Duty and coworkers regarding product, service, equipment, and safety issues
  • Assist team members with prepping items and washing utensils
  • Support front-of-house staff with bakery case cleanliness and guest service
