Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • some college or degree preferred
  • 1-2 years managerial experience preferred
  • ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to communicate clearly
  • must have time management skills
  • ability to work under pressure during busy times
  • exposure to heat, steam, and cleaning chemicals
  • ability to read, write and perform basic math
  • must fit through 30 inch openings

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • some college or degree preferred
  • 1-2 years managerial experience preferably in food service
  • strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • knowledge of food, liquor, beer and wine
  • excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • ability to manage teams and meet operational goals

Job Duties

  • Assist the General Manager in restaurant operations and planning
  • provide direction for restaurant staff to ensure guest satisfaction
  • ensure menu items are prepared and presented according to standards
  • perform or assist in functions across all restaurant positions as needed
  • manage inventory and ordering to maintain proper levels
  • conduct employment activities including hiring, training and performance reviews
  • oversee financial data including payroll, cash receipts, and food costs
  • address system breakdowns and operational issues
  • ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
