Job Requirements
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- ability to work AM, PM, weekend, and holiday shifts as required
- basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service standards
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- willingness to comply with sanitation and health guidelines
- ability to communicate effectively with guests
- physical ability to perform bartending duties including standing for extended periods
- ability to learn and apply mixology techniques
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service standards
- guest relations and etiquette
- ability to work various shifts including AM, PM, weekends, and holidays
- experience in a hotel or resort environment preferred
- valid Food Handlers Card or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Responsible Beverage Certification (TiPS, Title IV) preferred
- exceptional communication skills
- ability to multi-task
- strong interpersonal skills for face-to-face guest interaction
Job Duties
- Curates craft cocktails and/or beverages to guest specifications
- describes all bar items including methods of preparation and prices as needed
- uses proper shaking, mixing, and stirring techniques with bar tools such as Boston Shaker, Bar Spoon, Beakers, Jiggers, Hawthorne/Juniper Strainers
- possesses extensive knowledge of the surrounding area, events, and directions to enhance guests' local experience
- works with guests to accommodate special requests and dietary needs
- utilizes suggestive selling to maximize food and beverage revenues
- serves menu items quickly and courteously
- performs pre- and post-shift side work including setup, breakdown, and condiments
- responds promptly to guest inquiries and special requests ensuring satisfaction
- handles cash, balances bank at end of shift, and calculates tip outs
- serves guests at assigned station using proper service techniques
- observes guests to fulfill additional requests and completes assigned side work
- familiarizes self daily with menu items and cleans after events
- follows all food handling, TIPS, Title IV, sanitation, and health department guidelines
