Job Duties

  • Greeting the guests with a smile and friendly hello
  • seating the guest
  • guest recognition
  • guest service
  • monitoring entry area and restrooms for cleanliness
  • properly operating the telephone
  • accurately gauging wait list times with assistance from the MOD and informing the guest
  • saying goodbye and thank you to all guests
  • opening side work
  • closing side work
  • taking To Go and Room Service orders and coordinating proper delivery
  • thorough knowledge of all coupons, promotions, and special events in restaurant
  • thorough knowledge of all food items including daily specials
  • assisting other departments when necessary
  • answering the phone in a timely manner
  • providing directions to guests
  • keeping the gift shop clean and orderly
  • stocking the gift shop properly
  • assisting co-workers as needed
  • exemplify the Dolphin Hotel Management Standards of Excellence
