Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in food service or customer service is an asset
  • ability to communicate clearly and politely with guests and team
  • enthusiasm for hospitality and guest satisfaction
  • capacity to handle fast-paced environment
  • physical ability to stand, walk, and lift trays consistently
  • willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred but not required
  • positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences
  • excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Greeting guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, escorting guests to their tables
  • having thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including specials and promotions, to provide informed recommendations
  • taking food and beverage orders accurately, noting special requests and dietary restrictions
  • serving food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring presentation standards
  • utilizing suggestive selling techniques to promote additional items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
  • maintaining cleanliness and organization of assigned tables and dining areas during service
  • engaging with guests attentively to address questions, concerns, and ensure satisfaction
  • presenting bills, processing payments accurately, handling cash and credit card transactions
  • collaborating with kitchen staff, bartenders, and team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent service
