Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or associate's degree in a human service field
  • At least one to two years relevant experience working with the target population
  • Must pass fingerprint-based criminal record check
  • Must pass child abuse and neglect screening
  • Must maintain current CPR/First Aid certification
  • Must maintain CPI certification

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a human service field from an accredited university with one year relevant experience
  • or associate's degree in a human service field from an accredited college with two years relevant experience
  • Must pass background checks including fingerprint and child abuse screening
  • Must maintain certification in CPR/First Aid and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training

Job Duties

  • Provide confidential administrative support related to sensitive issues
  • Triage customers' needs and guide them to the appropriate pathway of services
  • Assist customers in completing on-boarding paperwork and filling out necessary applications
  • Coordinate warm hand-offs between providers for each service pathway
  • Serve as a community referral link to internal and external service providers
  • Schedule new patients for intake assessments with therapists daily
  • Monitor scheduled intakes, rescheduling patients in case of no-shows or cancellations
  • Manage agency data tracking systems for all referrals
  • Manage NM Star database and record required data related to Treat First
  • Verify private insurance and Medicaid eligibility via NM Medicaid portal
  • Utilize EMR clinical database to activate new clients and manage referrals for the agency
