Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license for state of employment or commutable distance
- One month related experience or training
- Availability for flexible scheduling including various shift times
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions
- Ability to follow established procedures and operational instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math competency
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state applied to or a commutable distance from the state
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add and subtract three-digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds
- Ability to perform mathematical operations using American money units
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly manner
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Greet guests with appropriate salutation of the day and welcome them to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Post in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries
- Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations within the facility
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon guest arrival
- Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information, including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, damage surveys, and claim check receipts
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when necessary
