Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- fluency in English both verbal and written
- ability to perform physical tasks including transporting 10 to 50 pounds
- able to endure various physical movements throughout work areas
- ability to reach heights of 8 feet
- excellent communication skills with guests and team members
- capability to work with minimal supervision
- attention to detail and accuracy in cleaning
- maintain confidentiality of guest information
- previous housekeeping experience preferred
- knowledge of safety and chemical handling procedures
Job Qualifications
- Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal
- ability to perform job functions with attention to detail speed and accuracy
- prioritize and organize tasks effectively
- remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment
- follow directions thoroughly
- understand guest service needs
- collaborate well with co-workers as part of a team
- work with minimal supervision
- maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data
- high school graduate
- fluency in second language preferably Spanish
- previous training in guest relations
- previous experience in hospitality industry preferably housekeeping in ultra luxury market
- two years prior experience in cleaning hotel guest rooms
- knowledge of proper chemical handling
Job Duties
- Clean guest rooms as assigned ensuring the hotel’s established standards of cleanliness
- report maintenance deficiencies promptly to management
- handle guest requests or complaints efficiently and courteously
- maintain confidentiality and security of guest rooms and information
- work collaboratively with housekeeping team members and other hotel departments
- adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols
- ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used properly and stored safely
