- Current Food Handlers Card
- guest or hospitality service experience
- restaurant host or hostess experience
- restaurant server experience
- ability to interact effectively with guests and team members
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to maintain professionalism and composure
- ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions
- ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
- ability to complete forms and documents
- ability to accept constructive criticism
- ability to routinely lift and carry 25 pounds
- ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours
- ability to bend, stoop, push and pull
- ability to appear for work on time

Job Duties
- Greet and seat restaurant guests
- take telephone food orders
- relay food orders to servers
- document guest count
- alert servers and guests when tables are ready
- respond to guest requests
- answer guest questions and provide menu information
- explain guest seating program
- assist guests courteously
- clean dining surfaces and dispose of trash
- reset tables following procedures
- stock and clean host/hostess workstations
- roll silverware and fold napkins
