Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years in experience with general maintenance techniques repair work and groundskeeping
  • 1 year in supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of plumbing construction pool and grounds maintenance
  • Proficient skills in operating various hand tools and power equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and train staff
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite email and internet
  • Ability to respond to resort needs during non-business hours

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Follow up on work assignments to ensure efficient thorough completion of assigned work orders
  • Perform water testing and other maintenance duties related to a well-water system or on-site water meters
  • Oversee and assist maintenance team with all aspects of property maintenance and repairs of grounds and facilities such as lawns clubhouses pools streets curbs and gardening landscape
  • Assist with the selection of all contractual services and supervise on-site contractors
  • Complete regular inspections of resident sites throughout the resort
  • Ensure staff is performing duties in a safe manner adhering to all safety procedures and properly using safety equipment
  • Assist with move-in procedures including resale inspection authorization and oversee lot modifications
  • Coordinate team member selection and development and ensure team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures
