- general food and beverage knowledge involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations is helpful and background in the service industry is a plus
- state or local law may require a certificate upon completion of an alcohol awarenesssafety class as well as state-certified proper food handling certification

Job Duties
- maintain bar area including keeping the bar topcounters and well areas neat and organized ashtrays emptied and wiped out dirty cocktail glasses removed and washed any napkins coasters straws or discarded garnishes cleaned up
- perform side work duties cleaning assigned station and other responsibilities as assigned based on business needs
- serve food to guests at bar area maintaining proper steps of service and positioning of plate
- be ready and willing to assist fellow associates bartenders barbacks servers bussers hosthostess and management as situations rise
