Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred
- Ability to safely use cleaning tools and chemicals
- Physical capability to perform cleaning duties including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Must be able to pass background checks including fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, and employment references
- Compliance with vaccination status inquiries as required by facility
- Ability to work the AM shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
- Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of cleaning tools and chemical usage
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Cleans scheduled residential units and/or office space and public areas in a proper and professional manner
- Maintains public and common areas of the facility in a safe, orderly and sanitary condition
- Identifies and reports the need for repairs and unsafe conditions and responds appropriately in emergencies
- Uses cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and per instructions
- Performs special tasks chargeable to residents as instructed by the Supervisor
- Cleans interior and exterior windows on a scheduled basis
- Uses carpet-cleaning equipment and performs carpet care as instructed
- Makes and/or changes resident beds as scheduled
