Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred
  • Ability to safely use cleaning tools and chemicals
  • Physical capability to perform cleaning duties including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
  • Must be able to pass background checks including fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, and employment references
  • Compliance with vaccination status inquiries as required by facility
  • Ability to work the AM shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning tools and chemical usage
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Cleans scheduled residential units and/or office space and public areas in a proper and professional manner
  • Maintains public and common areas of the facility in a safe, orderly and sanitary condition
  • Identifies and reports the need for repairs and unsafe conditions and responds appropriately in emergencies
  • Uses cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and per instructions
  • Performs special tasks chargeable to residents as instructed by the Supervisor
  • Cleans interior and exterior windows on a scheduled basis
  • Uses carpet-cleaning equipment and performs carpet care as instructed
  • Makes and/or changes resident beds as scheduled
