Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
  • Ability to identify unsafe conditions and report them
  • Ability to pass background checks including fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, and employment references
  • Some roles may require vaccination status disclosure
  • Availability to work the AM shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Willingness to perform physical tasks associated with housekeeping

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in housekeeping or custodial work desirable
  • Ability to follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Commitment to providing excellent service in a senior living community

Job Duties

  • Cleans scheduled residential units and/or office space and public areas in a proper and professional manner
  • Maintains public and common areas of the facility in a safe, orderly and sanitary condition
  • Identifies and reports the need for repairs and unsafe conditions
  • Responds appropriately in emergencies
  • Uses cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and per instructions
  • Performs special tasks which may be chargeable to the resident upon instruction of the Supervisor
  • Cleans interior and exterior windows on a scheduled basis
  • Uses carpet-cleaning equipment and performs carpet care as instructed
  • Makes and/or changes resident beds as scheduled
