Job Requirements
- Ability to pass background checks including fingerprinting and employment references
- Ability to pass a fitness for duty physical
- Availability to work the AM shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Willingness to comply with facility policies and procedures
- Must be able to perform physical tasks related to housekeeping
- Some roles may require disclosure of vaccination status
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and follow directions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in a senior living environment and demonstrate compassion
Job Duties
- Cleans scheduled residential units and/or office space and public areas in a proper and professional manner
- Maintains public and common areas of the facility in a safe, orderly and sanitary condition
- Identifies and reports the need for repairs and unsafe conditions
- Uses cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and per instructions
- Performs special cleaning tasks as directed by the Supervisor, including carpet care and window cleaning
- Makes and/or changes resident beds as scheduled
- Responds appropriately in emergencies
