Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Understanding of safety hazards and proper use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions
- Highly motivated service oriented self starter with strong work ethic
- Flexible and willing to work all shifts and additional hours
- Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment for routine maintenance
- Good interpersonal skills with polite demeanor toward staff customers clients and visitors
- Prolonged periods of standing
- Proficiency using large industrial cleaning equipment including buffing machines and industrial vacuum cleaners
- Ability to lift bend stoop climb reach and lift up to 50 pounds at a time
Job Qualifications

- Ability to perform basic repairs and operate maintenance tools and equipment
- Proficiency in using large industrial cleaning equipment including buffing machines and industrial vacuum cleaners

Job Duties
- Daily interior cleanliness of buildings including general cleaning of common areas such as cleaning spills windows and window coverings vacuuming sweeping stripping waxing and buffing floors
- Daily trash handling and removal including emptying compactors breaking down and tying cardboard boxes bringing trash and recyclables curbside for removal
- Prepare vacant units for occupancy remove all items left behind and leave units in broom swept condition
- Perform exterior building and premises cleaning and basic maintenance including exterior walls parking lots structures walkways paths gardens lawns outdoor furnishings pools curbs gutters exterior hallways and stairwells
- Perform light maintenance such as replacing light bulbs air filters blinds shades and other items as directed
- Place down mats and runners in inclement weather and assist in weather related cleaning conditions such as snow removal or storm preparations
- Report areas for unsafe conditions unlocked doors in restricted areas potential security breaches and report to manager or supervisor
