Job Requirements

  • requires a high school diploma or GED
  • prefer 3-6 months clerical or customer service experience
  • must be detail oriented
  • requires good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • must be able to maintain composure during times of emergency and be aware of emergency procedures
  • requires the ability to work in a high paced environment with high customer/client contact

Job Duties

  • observe all people entering the dorm
  • ensures each visitor registers/signs-in
  • ensures the name of guest and the name and room number of the student being visited for guest log
  • follows dorm manual procedures
  • answers telephones
  • contacts the dorm director and security in case of emergencies
  • maintains written documentation of all incidents
  • keeps desk area and lobby area clean and tidy
