Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a current, valid US driver’s license for at least 6 months
- Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 2 weeks of employment
- Must be able to obtain MAP certification within 150 days of employment
- Must successfully pass CORI background check
- Must successfully pass reference verification
- Must successfully pass national fingerprinting
- Must successfully pass driving record check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities and/or brain injury strongly preferred
- Strong time management skills
- Strong writing and communication skills
Job Duties
- Provide direct support to residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Administer medication according to the Medication Administration Plan (MAP)
- Implement individualized treatment plans
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as cooking and household chores
- Strengthen community connections by providing transportation for outings like shopping and medical appointments
- Collaborate with families, employers, and support staff to enhance residents' lives
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports
