Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of one year food service experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Outlook, Excel, and Teams
  • Valid Food Management Certificate
  • Valid Texas driver’s license with good driving record and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel to off-site locations using personal transportation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • A minimum of one year of food service experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Teams
  • Valid Food Management Certificate
  • Preferred Culinary Certificate
  • Valid Texas driver’s license with good driving record and reliable transportation
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to policies and procedures
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work within a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Professional objectivity and appreciation for confidentiality

Job Duties

  • Prepare three meals per day for clients following approved menus
  • Serve a minimum of 125 client meals daily
  • Monitor food inventories and document according to donor guidelines
  • Accommodate clients with food restrictions and special diets
  • Prepare sack lunches for off-site clients
  • Clean all kitchen equipment and surfaces during and after meal preparation
  • Ensure compliance with Child and Adult Care Food Program guidelines for meal preparation and documentation
