Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of one year food service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Outlook, Excel, and Teams
- Valid Food Management Certificate
- Valid Texas driver’s license with good driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel to off-site locations using personal transportation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- A minimum of one year of food service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Teams
- Valid Food Management Certificate
- Preferred Culinary Certificate
- Valid Texas driver’s license with good driving record and reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to policies and procedures
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work within a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Professional objectivity and appreciation for confidentiality
Job Duties
- Prepare three meals per day for clients following approved menus
- Serve a minimum of 125 client meals daily
- Monitor food inventories and document according to donor guidelines
- Accommodate clients with food restrictions and special diets
- Prepare sack lunches for off-site clients
- Clean all kitchen equipment and surfaces during and after meal preparation
- Ensure compliance with Child and Adult Care Food Program guidelines for meal preparation and documentation
