Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five or more years culinary or restaurant experience
- ServSafe Certification
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to plan, prepare and cook meals for larger groups
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use company vehicle for food procurement
Job Qualifications
- Strong background in food preparation and cooking for larger groups of 30-40
- Five or more years culinary or restaurant experience
- Familiarity with vendor utilization and negotiation
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- ServSafe Certification
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience in meal planning within a budget
- Valid driver's license
Job Duties
- Plan, prepare and cook meals Monday through Friday lunch and dinner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area adhering to food safety standards
- Handle food items with care ensuring proper storage and sanitation practices are followed
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards within the kitchen environment
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate for best pricing
- Plan meals within budget guidelines
- Utilize company vehicle for acquiring food supplies including trips to Food Bank and grocery stores
