Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • previous customer service experience
  • ability to apply common sense understanding to instructions
  • ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • ability to read, write, and speak English
  • ability to relate well to all residents including the emotionally upset
  • ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the public
  • ability to report to work regularly and promptly
  • ability to work beyond normal hours when necessary
  • excellent customer service skills and effective phone communication skills
  • ability to monitor and respond to email
  • ability to troubleshoot minor resident technical issues
  • ability to update daily schedules
  • ability to create sign-ups
  • ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Perform job functions consistent with the mission and goals of Loomis Communities
  • demonstrate awareness and respect for diversity in interactions
  • assist residents and guests efficiently with reservations, transportation, housekeeping, and package handling
  • ensure safety and security by monitoring community access and authorizing non-resident entry
  • assist with training new security personnel
  • perform security duties including patrols and emergency reporting
  • serve as First Responder to emergency call system
  • maintain lobby and public area cleanliness
  • provide administrative support including financial transactions
  • maintain records of resident preferences and information
