Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired
- Possess or have the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Satisfactory driving record
- Ability to meet safety sensitive function criteria according to company standards
- Demonstrated ability to safely drive truck and operate equipment
- Knowledge of truck components and basic maintenance
- Ability to maneuver truck into and out of minimum clearance spaces
- Ability to recognize unacceptable waste such as flammable materials
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand related documents and maps
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Flexibility to adapt to change and seek continuous improvement
- Physical strength to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
- Coordination of multiple limbs while sitting or standing
- Compliance with all company safety policies and procedures
Job Qualifications

- Ability to recognize unacceptable waste materials

- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Physical capability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to coordinate multiple limbs while sitting or standing
- Commitment to safety policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Drive a pickup truck with trailer or ancillary equipment along designated routes to deliver, swap, or retrieve carts
- Deliver carts to residential locations at curbside or back door
- Inspect carts and evaluate customer sites to ensure locations are safe for proper servicing per company standards and service agreements
- Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle condition report
- Load and unload carts manually or using a forklift
- Interact courteously with customers and general public, respond to requests and notify supervisor of issues
- Clean loose trash off truck and ground around truck to maintain a clean customer site and safety
- Maintain and submit logbook, daily route/productivity sheet, and vehicle condition report
- Maneuver truck into and out of minimum clearance spaces using mirrors
- Use key map and GPS to locate service addresses
- Follow safe operating practices including lock out/tag out procedures
- Adhere to all safety and company regulations and standards
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
