Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of customer service or related experience in resident and community relations preferred
  • available to work evenings and weekends
  • ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong computer skills
  • physical ability to perform job duties including standing, walking, climbing, stooping, squatting, and lifting up to 20 pounds
  • ability to work in varied weather conditions
  • adherence to company culture and core values

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of customer service or related experience in an environment involving resident and community relations preferred
  • ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • enjoy and take pride in providing excellent service
  • high-energy and great with people in person and on the phone
  • excellent verbal, written and computer skills
  • strong database management skills preferred
  • high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • demonstrate a positive, professional, and client-oriented attitude with team members, residents, clients and the public
  • answer incoming phone calls professionally and handle accordingly
  • serve as liaison for Community Manager with residents, guarantors, and property vendors
  • ensure tenants are provided a clean, safe, and well-maintained community
  • work with residents to ensure positive tenant and community relations
  • utilize Cardinal leasing expectations and procedures to greet prospective clients, qualify, determine needs and preferences, present the property and apartment homes, utilize feature/benefit selling, close the sale and follow-up
  • complete lease applications and participate in verification of applications
  • oversee execution of renewal campaigns and update renewal progress reports
  • assist the Leasing and Marketing Team Lead in planning and executing resident events
  • maintain accurate client records and update reports
  • maintain and perform upkeep of the tour route for curb appeal
  • assist residents with daily tasks as part of the concierge program
  • participate in Cardinal U training as required
