Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of paid work experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and nights
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and policies
  • Strong observation and documentation skills
  • Willingness to perform general housekeeping duties
  • Readiness to accept reassigned shifts without advanced notice
  • Availability to participate in off-site meetings and appointments if required

Job Qualifications

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to work with individuals and groups in both routine and emergency situations
  • At least one year of paid work experience
  • Knowledgeable in emergency drills, life safety, facility sanitation, escapes, and unusual occurrence procedures
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including first, second, and third shifts
  • Strong observational and documentation skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Job Duties

  • Monitors residents by observing, documenting, and ensuring accountability of all residents within the facility and community
  • Assists with managing program services including supporting counselors, installing electronic monitoring equipment, visiting residents’ homes and places of employment, and providing alcohol and urine surveillance testing
  • Monitors facility by conducting and documenting inspections to maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Maintains working knowledge and follows all procedures and policies outlined in the statement of work, physical plant, and operations manuals
  • Works flexible shifts as a relief employee, accepts reassigned shifts without advanced notice, and participates in required meetings and appointments
  • Performs general housekeeping duties such as dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and emptying trash
  • Completes other duties as assigned by the director, adhering to any changes in operating standards and staffing requirements from federal or state contracting authorities
