Job Requirements

  • must be able to work Saturdays and occasional evening events
  • must have ability to solve problems under minimal supervision
  • must prove annual TB clearance in accordance with state regulations upon hire
  • must obtain Hawaii liquor license blue card upon hire
  • must be comfortable learning healthcare setting applications
  • must demonstrate excellent communication and one-to-one interactive skills with seniors and older adults

Job Qualifications

  • college degree preferred
  • event planning experience helpful
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to speak in front of large crowds
  • proficiency in Canva, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • ability to work collaboratively
  • strong interpersonal skills with seniors and older adults

Job Duties

  • plan and develop resident activities and programs that promote health, wellbeing, engagement, and growth
  • provide administrative and operational support to the Independent Living Life Enrichment department
  • speak confidently in front of large groups during resident events
  • collaborate with co-workers to solve problems and achieve positive results
  • communicate effectively with seniors and older adults one-on-one
  • use computer software including Canva, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook for activity planning and communication
  • learn and utilize healthcare and community-specific applications as required
