Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5-10 years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality or related industries
- proven P&L management skills
- strong culinary background preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
- knowledge of contractual and compliance issues
- ability to lead through organizational change
- experience managing diverse teams including union and student employees
- high level of personal integrity and professional ethics
Job Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience typically acquired over 5-10 years including P&L responsibility within hospitality, retail, facilities, direct store delivery or food and beverage industries
- demonstrated leadership skills with broad knowledge of management practices, business judgement and client/consumer interaction
- confirmed ability to hire, assess, develop and grow hard-working talent
- comfortable reading, understanding, and implementing contractual requirements including identifying opportunities within contract terms and conditions
- established communication and teamwork skills to work with all levels of the organization
- proven success in a repeatable business model including leading through change and turnaround initiatives
- bachelor's degree generally required, advanced degree in business or related field preferred
Job Duties
- Manage all facets of the account including retail sales, finance, human resources, and dining operations with full P&L accountability
- drive retail and catering sales growth and profitability, while maintaining a hospitality centric program
- develop short- and long-term operational strategies in partnership with client and Aramark senior team members to provide leadership for successful design, development, and execution of strategy
- create a culture of culinary excellence and customer service that embraces diversity
- lead and manage a highly productive, motivated, and driven team through strong communication, empowerment, reward and coaching techniques
- maintain close working relationships with partner groups in functional areas such as safety & risk, health & wellness, sustainability, dining and retail operations, human resources, finance, marketing, supply chain and compliance
- partner with business unit leaders and other key stakeholders to drive change and implement new business processes
