Job Requirements
- Must be a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in Tennessee or a licensed Medication Technician certified in Tennessee
- CNA with at least one year of experience preferred
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate an interest in working with seniors
- Exhibit a warm, outgoing, and compassionate personality
- Show evidence of moral integrity, maturity, and leadership skills
- Have knowledge of community agencies and an appreciation for residents' social and life history status

Job Duties
- Ensure resident care staffing meets regulatory and company requirements with timely scheduling submission
- Maintain resident care scheduling records with approved time off noted
- Perform daily filing and quality assurance review of clinical documents
- Retrieve signed physician orders within 14 days of receipt
- Conduct weekly medication cart audits and report findings
- Assist with data collection and reporting as requested
- Review medication administration processes daily to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Precept new team members to ensure policy and procedural compliance
- Transcribe physician's orders and maintain verification records
- Protect residents' rights and provide emergency treatment when required
- Notify appropriate parties of changes in resident condition and document accordingly
- Schedule appointments and arrange transportation for residents
- Implement fire safety, disaster, and evacuation procedures
- Perform building rounds at shift start and end to evaluate care
- Work overtime during emergencies as needed
- Serve as a role model in appearance and conduct
- Participate in weekend call rotation and Manager on Duty Program
- Perform initial review of Medication Administration Record monthly
- Assist in compliance with medication logs and policies
- Educate care staff on dietary service roles and assist during meal times
